• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

They'll be looking to sue other parties, they won't accept responsibility in a million years.

This was months ago.

They are still refusing to pay and are saying they have another appeal to somewhere else, but no one seems to know exactly where or how.

How long would the transfer embargo last for? If it were one season then they would take the punishment?

Apparently 3 transfer windows and this appeal was to a Supreme Court in Switzerland, but do not know if it is true.

It won’t just be transfer umbongo. That’s just an irrelevance. Think of the precedent. They will also surely be deducted points or relegated. Plus they will still have to eventually pay or Nantes can take them to the cleaners. They are owed 20m, that can’t just be ignored or no one would ever pay. Just spend a gazillion on a team, don’t pay, and take the embargo, keep the team.

If you owe money and can't pay, then administrators come in and assets are sold.

Why would that be different here?

Because it seems to be ‘don’t want to pay’ rather than can’t?

A transfer embargo, so they're stuck with the dross they have.
Pay up what they owe or go bust
Points deduction.
Relegation to the Conference. Football league won't miss them.

Just as soon as we've done the quadruple, sorry quadrupe.😉

That amounts to what little you've got to offer, on most things, go and trawl twitter for some inane shit to post up, you're great at that.
