• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

There's 2 test matches in February, away to New Zealand first.

Those NZ tours give me sleepless nights

I think the first game is day night format as well.

I forgot about those. Different kettle those New Zealanders. 🙄

Nothing to do with the Test series that has long gone, but didn't want to start another cricket thread...
But for all you cricket aficionados only.

Put BT Sport 4 on.
Watching Otago Sparks Women v Northern Brave Women at the Sir John Davies Oval Otago...
Probably, no defiantly, the most picturesque cricket ground my old eyes has ever witnessed 😎
Even better than Maes Yr Afon Ynystawe ❤️

A better view of the M4 is not available. 😉

Absolutely Mutey! I played for Ynystawe before they built that grand new clubhouse, we used to change in a portacabin that doubled as the clubhouse 🤪

Watching an ODI in Queenstown is on my bucket list.

As an aside, my son has a friend who is in Queenstown now visiting family. They flew on Christmas Eve and got there Boxing Day night.

I will, I will. It won’t be for a few years, but it’s going to happen.

However, just had a look at the records and it’s not held a ODI since 2014. I wonder if it’s been pulled as a venue.
