We've spent big money on youngsters immediately declared "not ready" and talking about signing players ahead of them within the same window. Not learned from the Joseph, Whittaker, Ogbeta sagas, clearly. Ashby barely kicked a ball in the professional game but is trusted to play every week, lads with dozens of games in top domestic leagues made to wait their turn.

Yes. It all sounds a bit disjointed. Encouraging start to the transfer window with Key, Ginnelly and Yates but seems to have got a bit desperate since. Hope it’s not a case of clueless “investors” from over the pond having final say. Is Coleman a straw man?
