• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

God almighty, Nathan Jones was laying it on thick at the end there. Swear he'd just won the World Cup.

You've only reached the play off final mate.

What a quim.

Knew the camera was on him.
Didn't like that especially as the game was still in play.

The Alan Pardew Effect.

To watch NJ lose the final will be hilarious. Come on Orient, all behind you.

Notwithstanding that I agree NJ is a bit of a tosser, I wouldn't actually mind Charlton being promoted. In the group I play football with every Friday evening, there are supporters of several other Championship sides as well as myself and we have some great banter. We have a couple of Bristol City, no surprise given where I live, plus Pompey, Sheff Weds so it would be good to have someone to replace our poor Cardiff fan (but he's been banned from driving so we do but see him very often) and one of our goalkeepers is a real Charlton fan and I'll be seeing him this evening. One of the others is a Bolton fan and we were disappointed when they lost to Oxford last year. We also have 2 Bristol Rovers fans who won't be very happy with their relegation.

Decent day out down to Leyton Orient.
Did an away game there back in the Martinez Days (the 5-0?). One girl who came with us kept asking who is Martin Hedge.
