We need Sheff Utd promoted. Other than maybe we get a pay day on the grimes deal

Sunderland 76pts, thats usually the points total for 6th place. If Sheff go up then there will be a good 3 play off places up for grabs at least

Glad Brizzle have blown it.. can't lose them with Cardiff and Plymouth , we would be a real outpost

Sheff Utd get promoted or not. Wonder how that affects Darling. Could be why he is stalling a decision
Can’t see it. They’d pay him more than we will and are bigger and more likely to be promoted next year anyway. If they wanted him, he’d go anyway whether they win the play offs or not. They can’t register him until June anyway can they? So is he really stalling or just waiting for the best offer when the window opens as a free agent. I think he’s gone. Mind you I thought Bodde and Rangel were gone when they chucked their toys, so I suppose you never know.

If Sheffield United think Darling will be any use to them in the Premier league they're dafter than I thought.
When he's not playing for us, I would laugh my ass off if he does his favourite trick of pretending to be pushed sprawling and the ref ignores the massive jessie. It's always a relief for us when the ref falls for his nonsense. Tatey Redux.

I haven't quite settled on the who's the biggest 'flopper' in the team - Darling or Cooper. Both love a good flop in search of cheap free-kicks. I tend to think it's Cooper as that's largely the only thing he offers, but Harry gives him a good run for his money. It's more high risk with Darling as he tends to flop in and around our final 3rd whereas Cooper's area of floperation is usually in the opponents half, so not as consequential if the ref isn't buying it.

So, Coops is the most frequent flopper, but Darling the more high-stakes. Did they give a trophy for this at the recent annual awards?

I said pretty much this in another thread a while ago.
He was doing it against Cardiff to get himself out of trouble - just about got away with it.

I did speculate a while ago that Oliver Cooper should wear his boots on his arse.

Commentator just said Jake Bidwell got Grimes tickets for their FA Cup semi final against Manchester United and Grimes became a fan that day 🤣

It's a pity Cooper doesn't play more often otherwise we could play the Cooper On The Ground Count game, much like the Rasmus Hojlund one (or is that just in my head?).
