• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Warra gem he is.

And his teams play to his character - quietly supremely confident, diligent, hard working, smart, innovative, committed. Class personified. And winning, effectively and efficiently with style.

Everything Chelsea has been tonight, commandingly winning 2-0 at half time at the San Siro, the grandest of stages. So fitting for this gem. Fair play to the team in white (ish).
.

edit, as I scribe: Gallagher almost scores - another Swansea gem

He’s got the London look about him with his trendy haircut and saville row suit. The beards had a trim as well.

Yeah, that's a bit gash.

But, the model professional young manager, in so many ways.

The nowadays role model. Along with Coops.

We have set the bar high. Let's hope the current incumbent is taking note......

F*ck him.

Ordinarily Yeah. But in this case, No, butt.

He is the exemplar, the gold standard - the standard to which all our managers should be benchmarked. Coops did his very best and overachieved, but possibly compromised on style over substance of winning effectively and efficiently, with aplomb.

Martin has selfishly focused on style, and only style. The antithesis of our recent successful managers. Martin's ego is his downfall, in stark contrast to his humble predecessors.

Let's hope he's been watching our recent Swans managers' archives on how to become a winning manager.

So No, to your blinkered 'F*ck him'.
