• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Thank you

That was a lesson in finishing from Piroe

He is a Premier league player

Piroe is obviously better than Gyorkeres, he left for 20 million. Let's see how short we sell ourselves again.

A good performance I take it? Missed the game as I was at the races.

I know they are only friendlies but it was important to get a good win in before next week. Things looking up again, especially if we get the players in that have been talked about.

Really enjoyed watching us yesterday played some really nice stuff as you can see that 4th goal the build play was lovely, Grimes seemed further forward yesterday and Abdulai and Key looked brilliant.

It was an even first half with one moment of real quality off Piroe's boot. I thought Savage and Rushesha matched our midfield for long periods fair play to them (given what I've said about them recently...). Key was busy down the left, and it was a step up from the previous two games but that's not saying much.

Reading withdrew their captain Yiadom on 35 minutes because it was his first runout of preseason and they went downhill from there. Carroll and the keeper off at half time. They're struggling for players - fit or otherwise - due to the embargo, and have lost every preseason game. We battered them for the first 15 minutes of the second half and dealt with almost everything they had to offer comfortably thereafter. Looked the much fitter team which made a nice change.

Not really. Looks fairly fast but ran into trouble a couple of times and didn't have anything much to work with. Good for him to get minutes but it will probably be a few weeks before he's showing us what he can actually do.
