What bearing does your professional sport experience have on this group of players? It doesn't give your opinion any credibility. The same way my coaching of international athletes in other sports doesn't mean I know a thing about the mentality of our side.

The fact that most people judge their opinion on what they know and see. They don't see what players really say and think when a camera is not on them and don't have to be a good boy. I have been in similar circumstances and know what players say so basing my opinion on that. Hence my opinion. I didn't say these players do think the same way at all. I mearly said I can see heads dropping and it's going against them similar to Brentford just missing out on automatic placing last year then failing in the play offs.

There's an argument, and yes I've used it, that it's probably better to get into the play offs than drop into them. However, we're not an arrogant club or city, we know what good looks like, and do not act as if we're entitled.

Cooper has shown (me, anyway) that his motivational skills are developing well, and should we be outside the autos, but have games in hand, then we have as good a chance to maximise the points had we played those games as originally scheduled, in my opinion. Positive thinking folks!

Not getting involved in arguments. Just gave an opinion which Jinxy has said similar in so many words. Anyone who thinks mentality won't be different to a team dropping into play offs as apposed to just creeping in (like we did last season) is delusional.

It's all about motivation and psychology isn't it. Cooper will doubtless point out Brentfords successful conversion of their games in hand at the appropriate time to the players.

Every negative can be flipped, as can every positive, e.g. "2-0 is a dangerous scoreline" lol.
