Any thoughts on Rachel Reeves being caught breaking the law? And should she be prosecuted?
From what I can gather the independent ethics adviser was contacted and advised there was no case to answer.
My trust in M.P's is at a low bar but.if as reported she went through an agency you would have thought they should have checked.
This stupidity within politics to jump on the slightest thing to play games with is pathetic.
Put more effort into getting this country back on its feet.
If there is true criminality call it but everyone can make a genuine mistake.
As I said putting aside my views on them the odd genuine mistake can happenMP’s don’t make genuine mistakes.![]()
I agree with the muck raking intentions, they are shit scared of any powerful woman and it's amazing how some others of different political persuasion get off with being Russian assets and all sorts of corruption. It's not quite like speeding though, but the intention is aimed at slum landlords. As she let through agents they are as culpable in poor advice. It's about the same level as speeding to be frank. Absolute stitch up by the greedy billionaires who may have to pay more tax.
It's the same one who investigated Rayner, unfortunately for some, on this occasion the crime doesn't warrant a public execution outside number 10.Aye the poor cunt should have taken advice off someone who knows about things like this, someone like the Chancellor of the Exchequer perhaps.
I hate em all, especially Reeves and Starmer add Drakeford and his Cronies and we'll still have Labour under a different guise come next May in Plaid. It's the same one who investigated Rayner, unfortunately for some, on this occasion the crime doesn't warrant a public execution outside number 10.
If she was Housing Minister then you would have a point.Aye the poor cunt should have taken advice off someone who knows about things like this, someone like the Chancellor of the Exchequer perhaps.
Latest information suggest a royal mess up by the agency. If you pay professionals then you would expect they have some idea. If anyone who is not a landlord or agent in Southwark suggests they knew a licence was needed then they are almost certainly lying. Perhaps the more pertinent question is how much tax does Viscount Rothmere (the Mail's owner) pay in the UK? I pretty sure it's a lot less than I do.
