It was like an echo of this forum.

Wingers not good enough and criminal that Galbraith is being played RB.

And one that will upset a few........Recruitment needs to be better this summer 🙈🤣

I am confident that we can recruit well in the summer based on our shift in the club in recent times. But I want to see the club be ruthless in the summer. They have been smart with VP contract, now they need to cut and ship out players who aren't delivering.

I’m not one to right players off (even after a full season) but it’ll be interesting to see what people’s end of season scores/grades are for the signings made last summer.

I agree , some of those brought in are taking too long to show why we brought them in.

Widell 5/10
Santos 1/10
Samuel-Smith 5/10
Benson 1/10
Stamenic 7/10
Galbraith 9/10
Yalcoue 4/10
Wales 5/10
Casey 6/10

From January

Ward 2/10
Nunes 4/10
Walta 2/10 (I'm very concerned to say the least)

I don't give 2 shits and he can come out with all the bollocks he believes makes him right....he's still wrong.

That’s a bit rude isn’t it!

The Galbraith discussion we have done to death is the same. He plays in both positions and has done for years. I will always back our managers judgement over some Radio Wales callers. We have to recruit to Matos’ system in the summer, the squad was built for Sheehans system, so these players are adapting. We have a stronger core and framework to build now than we have in years. As you know, I don’t get drawn into club criticising after losing to teams in the top 6, I leave that to others.

Most summers are the same. We get lots of new names in. Hopes are raised. But names mean diddly-squat without quality. Yes we have to wait for end of season analysis, but we can all usually spot good-uns early on (eg Galbraith/Stamenic) or the "others" as may be politely described. Overall it wasn't a success.

But I still have faith in our Manager and owners for a better 2026 Summer. Please in particular a better defence and some tricky goal scoring wingers ( how often this season have such opposition wingers done for us)

And the least said about Ronald the better !

Do you think the club (or many clubs for that matter) recruit for a particular manager’s system? I’d suggest it’s more a case of strengthening areas we’re weak based on players available, cost and age profile/possible resale value. Clearly the manager will have input at various stages of the process.

People will point to Burgess, but we desperately needed a left sided centre half. Maybe we could have done better (when considering the apparent wages) but I don’t blame anyone at the club for wanting someone with leadership qualities, experience and on paper a player who’d just had the best 2/3 seasons of his career.

I can’t believe I missed the chance to say he’d take a vey dimi view of your comments. 🤣

Name calling and pettiness seems to be a theme with a few on here over the last few days.

The difference between Galbraith and Ward at right back yesterday was obvious for everyone to see.

We definitely need to make a decision on what is happening there long term.

Ethan is head and shoulders above our current other options.

It's a sign of how bad some of our recruitment has been that even now Ntcham and Paterson would walk into this team. Our recruitment of wingers in particular is dreadful, we have 3 here ( Eom, Ronald, Inoussa) recruited 2 more this season (Nunes , Benson) and there isn't 1 good one between the lot, though the jury is still out on Inoussa. Some of the ones we signed have been excellent, Galbraith, Stamenic, Vigoroux, Vipotnik, but we have had far too many that haven't produced here. It definitely needs to be better this summer.

Basically that's what they said, it needs to be a big improvement this summer than previous transfer windows if we wish to push on.
The guy talking said that he believes our squad is better on paper than Wrexham squad but football is not played on paper.

In relation to a post further back, he said it's clear as day as a former footballer that Galbraith plays midfield, wasted at RB and is just been put there to cover because of injury and loss of form...needs to be put in midfield and then the midfield built around him.
We have too many central midfielders and believe the Walta signing was strange given our need to strengthen in other areas to which I believe he indicated out wide and defensively.
