Radio Wales after the game

From what I've seen of him this season, I have very high hopes that Lissah is going to solve the right back problem next season. We can all stop stressing about that position then!

Big step up from Scottish Prem to Champ for me.
He should be given an opportunity but not the nailed on RB to start the season.

I wonder if they’re pretty much writing off this season for him and waiting for him to have a full pre season? Don’t agree with that myself though - I’d have though 5-10 thirty minute appearances would only help him get used to the league ready for next season.
This. It's a no brainer surely.

You can see the quality of our squad is a big improvement from this time last season
With 11 players on International duty .
Another focused summer transfer window will see us in a good place .

It's not showing in our league position, depending on what results are forthcoming, it could be our lowest championship finish since relegation from the Premier league. We shall wait and see.

Since Vitor Matos took over there has been a big improvement .
22 games with 37 points is a good platform to build on .

What silly logic.

Walta and Burgess are better player then O'Brien and Darling just because they get called up to a shit international team?

Tend to agree Malc, we've got a decent manager and the squad is looking healthier than it was this time last season.

No doubt we'll kick on in the summer and bring in some quality additions to areas of the squad where we are lacking quality, out wide being one of them.

Have a look at the match day squad from this time last year to now .
The improvement is obvious .

Our team really hasn't changed as much as people think.

Burgess instead of Darling
Galbraith instead of O'Brien
Stamenic instead of Allen.

You could make a case for all 3 from last year being better players.

Darling is certainly better the Burgess that is for sure.

Allen was no doubt a better player then Stamemic but his fitness/injury record was very iffy.

O'Brien and Galbraith is very close you could go either way and I wouldn't complain.

But what there is now is the long term stability and assets to build from. Darling was out of contract, Allen retiring and O'Brien an expensive short term loan. As opposed to Burgess, and particularly Galbraith and Stamenic who are valuable assets ties down to lengthy contracts. And that's without the likes of Widell & Walta who hopefully will shine next season.

Also remembering that it took a while for Vipotnik to shine. It should be expected that these foreign youngsters won’t always hit the ground running; whilst they might be paid a small fortune and have what looks like a glamorous lifestyle from the outside, will not be so straightforward from the inside. New house, language, food, climate, friends, teammates, coaching methods, translates into a lot of adjustment.
