• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

It didn't blow you off the top of the Christmas tree then.

It was far from a bit meh here mush and its still blowing like fuck, just blew the head off my Guinness ffs.

Now I’m fuming, just went to the gym and it’s fucking closed🤬🤬🤬
Serves you right for being a fitness freak :ROFLMAO:

Anyway they cancelled our respite today, so stuck in house again, have managed to do a few things, biggest one was fitting a water filter no buying frigging bottled water anymore.

I just walked up to Lidl in Trallwn. It was certainly blowy and wild but its not all that bad, I thought to myself. At that very moment, a gust from nowhere blew me into the middle of the road into the path of an oncoming car. Luckily it was right next to a junction and the car was stopping anyway. Its fking WILD out there.

Lawn mower, strimmer, pressure washer & few other things, all OK.
Those sheds aren’t cheap either, have you considered getting anchors for it? My plastic shed is a bit bigger than yours, but even with quite a bit of stuff in it, it was still lifting a few inches. So I think I’ll definitely be putting more stuff in it to weigh it down, or looking at some sort of anchoring for it.

I fancied a couple Guinness's so popped to our local Tesco Express, its not nice out there.

Swings and roundabouts.

The swings - fences still standing and roof still intact from what I can tell.

The roundabouts

Someone reversed into my car in Tesco car park rendering it undriveable. As we’ve previously established, I wouldn’t have been anywhere near Tesco if it wasn’t for the storm causing my delivery to be cancelled so I’m classing that as storm damage.

I’ve rarely needed tonight’s swill more.

Bluddy hell!
Have you got the culprit?

Yeah I was in the car when she reversed into me. She was hysterically upset to be fair and had a little kid in the car so I wasn’t going to be a prick about it. Shit happens and no one got hurt so that’s the important thing.
