Red Weather Warning

Yeah I was in the car when she reversed into me. She was hysterically upset to be fair and had a little kid in the car so I wasn’t going to be a prick about it. Shit happens and no one got hurt so that’s the important thing.
Absolutely!
Awful conditions to be out and about in, possessions can be replaced in most cases and only pride hurt.

My biggest worry is my insurance company saying they’ll give me a “small courtesy car” while mine is being repaired. I’m a few pounds shy of 17 stone like so a Fiat 500 isn’t gonna be much good to me :ROFLMAO:

Someone just sent me a video of the rugby club roof coming off, couple outside lucky not to be cut in half by it.

Swings and roundabouts.

The swings - fences still standing and roof still intact from what I can tell.

The roundabouts

Someone reversed into my car in Tesco car park rendering it undriveable. As we’ve previously established, I wouldn’t have been anywhere near Tesco if it wasn’t for the storm causing my delivery to be cancelled so I’m classing that as storm damage.

I’ve rarely needed tonight’s swill more.
I warned you about going to Tesco.

Sorry to hear that. What a pain in the arse.

Fucking hell, that’s more than a bit shit.

The render from around my bedroom window has come off and just missed my car. Woman who lives opposite me, her plastic shed / greenhouse has blown up her garden and managed to so far trap itself against a wall, if it manages to lift over that it’s going straight onto my car 🙈

I’d be more worried about the incoming rise in insurance premiums! A non fault accident like that will cost you an extra 600-700 over the next five years. Happened to me a few times, I would definitely claim whiplash to offset the not your fault increases incoming, although from what I have heard, that would be hardly likely to cover 2 years of the impending increased premiums.

She reversed into him. It will be her insurance that covers the bill.

Aĥhh mate, wasters that claim whiplash falsely are the worst, wasting NHS time and skiving off work just to get a payout.
Bad form that ...

Yes coops, but once you declare a non fault accident, it goes up. It happened to me twice about ten years ago, and it went up 120 quid a year then.

Well the whiplash has been capped now, it’s hardly worth mentioning as a sort of scam, but I thought it may offset the charges. Think it’s about 150 quid payout now, I only mentioned it, because I thought it may help offsetting the incoming increase in ECB payments?

What am I missing here? ECB will declare a fault accident, not a non fault accident.

I smashed into a pheasant on the M4 a while back, mangled a grille and various pipework behind it. Claimed on insurance with protected no claims and it didn’t influence my premiums.
