We won’t get any signings with no manager and uncertainty surrounding the club, plus we wouldn’t have competed with Coventry on the basis they reached the play off final.

I thought the whole point of having a large scouting a recruitment team was so it could remain partially independent of the reigning manager whoever that may be at any particular time. Josh Marsh is still collecting a wage? Is Andy Coleman so embroiled in twitter that he can't sign a free agent?

We won’t get any signings with no manager and uncertainty surrounding the club, plus we wouldn’t have competed with Coventry on the basis they reached the play off final.

But they do already have Bidwell so DaSilva will have joined them knowing that he won't be an automatic starter, while we for example don't have any full backs.

However it is going to be difficult to attract players while we are managerless.

Marsh was supposed to be leaving the club along with Winter according to the stories in the press a month ago so I can't imagine he's got any input into signings currently.
The manager is off with all his backroom staff & Watson is rumoured but hasn't joined yet.
We absolutely should have people in place to make football decisions but currently we haven't.
A new manager will want his own input into new signings depending on how he wants to set us up

Yea no doubt, but when we are so short in a position and there's the opportunity to sign a versatile free agent like this before a manager comes in it seems like a no brainer. A new manager will want to assess the whole of the rest of the squad anyway.
