Relegation Update

I think it would if we were safe smurphy
Not a chance.

They aren't 12 years of age. These are highly paid sports men.

Honestly this discussion is embarrassing. I couldn't give a fuck what happens to that lot up the road.

I want my team to win every game they play. That's my focus, not what's going on elsewhere.

There's not a chance a group of professional sports people would go out to lose a game in order for a team 40 odd miles up the road to possibly get relegated.

It's embarrassing we are even discussing it.
You Recall Son for Spurs v Citeh. If they took points off em it would gift Arsenal the title.
Clean through 1v1 and missed total sitter.
So don't for once think it doesn't happen.

You honestly think he missed that on purpose?

Absolutely. And millions would agree.

He's though on goal with Dias on his shoulder and one of the worlds best goal keepers in front of him and his first thought is, I must not score in case Arsenal win the league 😂

That's pretty funny, fair play.

Ortega is certainly not a top keeper. He's got 3 yards on Dias and his shot is weak as piss against the keepers legs. None of us will ever know for certain, but come on buddy, definitely dodgy.

Watch it back, there isn't anything dodgy about it whatsoever.

We should put out our best team and try and win every single game we play. Anything less is unacceptable.

But if we're beaten after trying our best on the day, and that happened to relegate Cardiff, then who could ask for more.

Games left, even if we only scrape on 4 or 5 points it would need a massive turn around in other teams fortunes especially as many play each other

Format Ok when I type but closes up when saved

I can see the following but we know how unpredictable it is -

Points gained on the remaining games-

Derby 11. - 46 points
Cardiff 9. - 45 points
Luton 9. - 43 points
Oxford. 5. - 44 points
Plymouth 5 - 38 points

Looking at our current position i think 1 more win might be enough

9 games to go and all those teams are currently gaining a point per game so on that maths I would say 46 gets you safe.
Even working on those teams going on a good run and that for me is 1.5 point per game then it gives them 14 points meaning we need 5 points worse case scenario.

2 tough games coming up for us but I really think we are capable of picking a point up Saturday if we are up for it, international break after the weekend so let's leave everything on that pitch come final whistle.

Preston North End v Swansea City
