Absolutely terrific for us and got the ball rolling on what was to follow.

But

Hasn't set the world alight with stints at Wigan and Everton.
Underacheved with the Belgium national team.
Doing well with Portugal but still early on in that role.

Barcelona job though! Bobby is a media Darling and he knows how to play the game.

I’ll have a go.

Rodgers
Toshack
Martinez
Laudrup
Bond*

*last one may be a joke.
Do you mean Brooke Bond? 😂

Harry Griffiths would be in there for me and I'd definitely would put Laudrup in the top three'
Rogers
Tosh
Laudrup
Harry
Martinez
Sousa would be close to that 5 as well, IMHO

He changed the whole ethos of the clwb, picked us out of the dirt and sent us on our way playing some wonderful football. That league title winning year is still one of my favourites since following us. It was magnificent.

Superb season.

Bringing in players like DeVries, Rangel, Williams, Bodde and Scotland.
Coupled with the football it was wonderful.
We were a proper club back then.
Loved that season.

Can’t understand the bitterness of our fans towards Martinez. In any other industry the majority of us would want to better ourselves which is what Martinez did by going from the championship to the premier league. A long time has passed since then, so maybe it’s time to put the bitterness to bed

It was brilliant. It’s about 7th top for me, but the season after when Bodde was on fire was superb too. He was a great manager for us while he was here.

Absolutely no bitterness from me, Bobby did extremely well for us, also the work put in by Graham Jones should be recognised, a very underrated coach.
Since leaving us it must be said he's been a little fortunate to get some really good sides to manage, for very little return...

I got slated a few seasons ago for suggesting that Harry was one of our best managers Steve. Clearly you are an educated fellow and have a clear insight on anything football related Steve :)
