Im no fan of Cooper or his tactics which can be highly effective in the Championship as we know. But i had to reply to this post as the criticism of Grimes is ridiculous and not all fans agrre with you. He may not be Bernard Silva but he puts in a good shift every week and fights for the team.

If a team gets promoted you have to have a mix of old and young players as we know and then prudentally fill in the gaps with shrewd buys. Then if you go down you are able to decide as to stick or twist with the squad and parachute money. Buying 23 players and giving them to Pep would still be insane, i hope they have deep pockets and a rich benefactor as 150 million doesnt work. Now thats stupid.

I was never his biggest fan, but he got them promoted after 23 years out of the PL, then they let him spend almost £150m on 21 players. After all that, why even consider sacking him after 8 games?
