Rodon

As sad as it is somebody's gotta go we need the money for survival during these times
I think we will then get the lad from Blackburn

Was the 'someone' you bumped into Richard Ashcroft? He did the same to me the other day when I was walking down the street.

You’re a lucky man.

Cheers. I thought it was funny, anyway.

If you have followed social media over the last month then it would be easy to believe that West Ham Utd have not got any spending money

For me it would be a ‘No’ as if he stays fit & we can add a striker we have a good shot at the top 6 but I can see the club - with no match money for at least 6 months - talking at that level & if we could nudge that up towards £20M plus sell on clause they will say yes.

Our backers have little interest in our success as a football club and I reckon they'd take the first £10m offered.

If you mean the US shareholders they know the only way they will ever retrieve a large proportion of their purchase price is to be successful.
They are here for the long haul and are doing a decent job of keeping the club solvent.

Was my "I think Phil should, er, ban him" a bit too far as Verve/Ashcroft jokes go then?

I'll get my coat

Sorry, bit of stretch there. Good effort though!

Leicester are apparently the latest club linked with Joe.

He would do well under Rodgers, good club to move to if he's guranteed to start.

May have jumped the gun on the Leicester link. They've had a bid accepted by St Etienne for their CB Wesley Fofana.

Does not matter whether it is a yes or no as far as we are concerned really does it, the powers that be will gleefully take 15 mill, question is how much will they spend of it on the team, i would suspect as little as possible.

Think Rodon needs a big season in the Championship.. injury prone and not sure we would get full value for him at present.

Do you think he starts ahead of Soyuncu and Evans?

32 year old Evans is out injured again, perfect place for Joe to go to mature under Brendan
