For me it would be a ‘No’ as if he stays fit & we can add a striker we have a good shot at the top 6 but I can see the club - with no match money for at least 6 months - talking at that level & if we could nudge that up towards £20M plus sell on clause they will say yes.

Our backers have little interest in our success as a football club and I reckon they'd take the first £10m offered.

If you mean the US shareholders they know the only way they will ever retrieve a large proportion of their purchase price is to be successful.
They are here for the long haul and are doing a decent job of keeping the club solvent.
