Not terrible. But we need 2 quality defenders to be pushing. I am desperate like many want the combination of Cabango and Burgess to be the best defense in the championship. Problem you have is, Burgess passing is terrible and Cabango switches off. But can't see Cabango being dropped due to him being the captain. Unless we get a worldy next year and he gets injured. Who knows.Oh absolutely, agree on most of that, though don't think Cabango and Burgess have had a terrible season so far .

I would be happy to have Burgess as backup. But think we need an upgrade on him.I think we need a CB who is even remotely comfortable on the ball.
I'd quite happily see us move Burgess on.

Unfortunately work rate is not enough if we’re aiming higher. At the end of this season, We should thank him for his service and look for a replacement with work rate and better attacking attributes.Ronald’s final ball is poor but it’s his work rate that gets him selected , fits perfectly into Matos style of play.
As you say Eom is a strange one, he looks a player and has plenty of energy, but his stats are awful. 1 goal and 1 assist in 33 games this season, 3 goals and 2 assists last season, as most people have said if we are looking to progress as a club we have to replace our wingers with better.I’m not completely against Ronald staying as a back-up/energy sub, but there’s no way he should be starting for any team with playoff ambitions. He seems like an honest lad who tries his best, but it’s not at the level we need week in week out. A replacement starter is high on the list.
Eom is a strange one. I think he’s one of the most naturally talented players at the club, but it’s not really translating into goals and assists on the pitch. He was great under Sheehan last season, but he’s not been able to follow that up this season so far on the whole. Wish he was a bit stronger and faster. Maybe Matos and his staff need time to work out how best to use him, I don’t know.
I don’t even know these days what his best position is. Someone on here (I don’t remember who) was firmly stating that he was a natural 10.Eom is a strange one.
