• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

He's a part of the team per say and shares victory yes, but I'll be fucked if he takes credit for anything that the players did on the pitch today.

They played their nuts off to make his s**thouse tactics work and avoid losing yet another lead in routine fashion.

The players won the derby.

Isn’t it the players jobs to play their nuts off to make the manager’s tactics work - every game!?

When the tactics are designed to create a positive outcome, yes.

Not when they are designed to limit, shackle and just make it infinitely more difficult to achieve a positive result, hence the players having to play out of their skin to hold onto a lead/draw and then snatch a win

I hope Russ didn’t upset you miserable lot like he did after the Bristol game, by going over to the fans to celebrate.

This site has turned into a retirement home for the bitter and miserable.

What. A. Win.

Sing when you’re winning, bois. The doube was uncharted territory, the double doube is beyond wildest dreams.

However, at the end of the day it’s the bigger picture that counts. If we revert to type and have an another limp end to the season then the pressure will be back on. Martin needs a strong finish to the season.

Grim afternoon for you. Chin up fella

Not at all always pleased when we win though we havnet won much of late ......And always great when we beat them up the road

The irony or wotever you wanna call it is that we won it in the same way we've chucked away so many games this season. Was there a higher being testing us ?
