• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Sadly I fear people will be saying same thing about Sheehan in few weeks.
What, that he throws players under the bus and never accepts responsibility for himself? Unlikely, as one of the things that people like about Sheehan is his honesty and willingness to be self-critical.

Must admit, as much as I loathe Russy even I thought he couldn't possibly screw things up in a two horse race. For once I appear to have overestimated him.
It's not really been a two horse race since they were wound up and had to start again in Division 4.

They managed to pinch one title under Gerrard but that was thanks to Covid and the fact that Celtic thought it was a good idea to bring back the dinosaur Neil Lennon. Either side of that they haven't really had a sniff at winning the league.

I'd imagine in 10 years time Celtic not only will have overtaken them for league titles but they'd have put quite a distance between them too.

Next season then, 55 titles each at the moment 🍀💚

Bad British managers, and there have been many, seem to keep being employed.
Dogshite bad, keep being employed and no-one understands why
Do some owners/ directors out there, just think the manager that was only bad/ bang average, can really raise their club standards up?
Martin took a team of prem players side to the playoffs. Didn't look an automatic promotion candidate all season.
Did look like an automatic relegation side from the prem.
Shocked they managed to beat Derby's woeful points haul when they were relegated. Still am p1ssed off with Derby for their shenanigans with Ferre, so in a way really glad

2 average seasons for us, MK and a sacking for being so poor isn't much of a resume

Said it when he was appointed that I'll be suprised if he last until New Years, I'm standing by that, he won't get away with his bullshit nonsense up there like he did down here.

Dont they play every opponent twice each home and away?
He would have to do the quadrube to make them happy
