• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

ā€œThe Sidestep Waltz doesnae get any betterā€. I wish our arselicker interviewers had done that.

🤣🤣🤣

OMG: The players are shithouses, that’s not a criticism of them. If they played like I told them, they’d be fine

They haven't got a pot to piss in, they cant afford to pay him off. šŸ˜‚
In part because they have just given him £30m of new talent.

It all sounds very familiar. I think we gave him 23 signings and he still screwed up.

How is he still in a job after that result today?

Long may it continue as far as I'm concerned.

I am enjoying his professional humiliation far more than I probably should.
I'm loving every single minute of it. I thought last seasons humiliation at Southampton was the pinnacle.

Let's be honest the majority of us on here could guide Rangers to second place in the Scottish League.

I think I'm enjoying the Rangers thing more as he would obviously have thought that winning in Scotland would be a doddle on the road to salvaging his reputation.

The fact that even being remotely competitive in a fairly average league has proven to be well beyond his skillset is just "chef's kiss".

New owners of Rangers replace a club legend in Barry Ferguson (not that he was that good) with Russell Martin who the fans couldn't stand as a player, just sums up the failure in ownership guide on how to fuck up owning a football club.

The lesson are there in plain sight yet it's amazing how it's contantly missed.

Same here, I reckon my neighbor Alun could guide them to second place in that league and he's more of a rugby man.

It's amazing how badly run some massive clubs are. Man Utd another one. There's almost like an arrogance about it in a way, "we're too big to fail".

Well, if you have muppets in the boardroom appointing even bigger muppets, then in actual fact no, you will fail.
