Oh well, better team lost. Never mind. Wales' penalty was the criminal one. he is paid to put the ball in the net, he should have practiced penalties as part of his skillset and that one was piss poor. Yalcoulye I can sort of let off, he's probably never taken one before...it was still beyond awful for a pro footballer mind.

It would have been nice to go through, but don't put them away and that's the risk.

Team is moving in the right direction, but we lack a goal (regular) threat beyond Viptonik.

Idah makes zero difference when he's fit. We need to develop the attacking side of the game to introduce goals from different outlets more often.

Absolute travesty that we lost to that shower twice this season. Murdered them tonight.

Really disappointing and a lesson in taking your chances for us. Easily the better side for all of that really, should have been done by 90.

Having said that, we are still in a precarious position and don’t really need cup football this season. West Brom having more games to play also helps us out a bit.

Still our best and most complete performance of the season by some distance.

Just one of those games unfortunately, every team has them.

I think the way we played was really positive; it's so refreshing to have a team playing at pace and trying different things (even if they don't always come off). Inoussa's goal was particularly good football.

Rather we had a day like that today instead of when we played them in the league last week.

Disappointing to go out but we played pretty well overall and really should have finished them off in 90 mins.
Yes I agree. I said a few weeks ago that if we had to lose one I hoped it would be today.

Really disappointing to go out like that though.

We were playing our first choice other than Fisher and they were not so we really should have beaten them.

I enjoyed the game but we have to learn better options in attack and take the chances to finish teams off.
Hopefully that will come
Birmingham and Blackburn important games

The answer as to why we didn't is in your final sentence. He must have cost us at least 15 points over the years if you classed this as a league game
