I was a bit pissed off though ima stoppage time when we ran the ball into the corner to waste time rather than try and score… who plays to try and hold on for a draw?
Don't think that was the intention. Option inside just wasn't thereI was a bit pissed off though ima stoppage time when we ran the ball into the corner to waste time rather than try and score… who plays to try and hold on for a draw?
It's Bellamy and Margetson attempting to turn Liam Cullen into the ultimate utility player.. he's not a defensive minded player, attempting to turn him into one is batsh*t bonkers stuff.. he's too weak, positionally he doesn't anticipate spaces.. poor Parker was having a torrid timeGood point.
We battled against a team who were better than us.
Would have come away with nothing in games like that in recent years.
Didn't get the formation from the start with Sam Parker being isolated time and time again.
Cabango was absolutely immense today.Sat in the Railway, here are my thoughts. Great point. Cabango played on one leg for an hour and was immense. Middlesbrough were technically excellent. Shout out to Ben Parker, who let the ball run under his foot for the opening goal but was on point for the rest of the game. I can imagine the usual culprits would have crucified him for that loss of concentration, though (see what I did there).
Onwards and Upwards.

Agreed kidCabango was absolutely immense today.
Thought he was excellent when he came on. Gave us a real outlet, the team shape looked far better with him and he caused problemsPlease can Ronald never play for us again. It was like playing with the 10 men when he came on. If pointing and running around in circles gets you a championship contract I may pretend I’m Brazilian
I agree, Parker looked overawed in the first 10-15 minutes but he got virtually no support and was often up against two players. His confidence grew exponentially as the game wore on. And boy, has he got pace going forward. Hard to knock off the ball when he's flying tooIt's Bellamy and Margetson attempting to turn Liam Cullen into the ultimate utility player.. he's not a defensive minded player, attempting to turn him into one is batsh*t bonkers stuff.. he's too weak, positionally he doesn't anticipate spaces.. poor Parker was having a torrid time
Cabango showed what a player we saw in previous seasons. Burgess did well too. Parker pace and defending got better. Thought we didn't step out of the blocks quick enough at times, but it's understandable considering Boro was fighting for something and alot of our players have played alot of games and traveled with international. We didn't deserve to win or lose that game. A draw was a fair point. Happy with the Easter Results.Sat in the Railway, here are my thoughts. Great point.
