S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | WBA vs The Swans | 3pm, Saturday 29th November 2025 | The EFL Championship l The Hawthorns

Not sure if there's a ghost in my android machine but all of Jack Harris's content in this post looks like this to me
Not sure why it did that, but hopefully I fixed the issue. Thanks for alerting me to the fact it had all gone pear-shaped!

2-1 to The Swans, The Swans we know and crave

VM to get us playing on-brand, with the right selection, the right tactical interventions and getting a tune out of our richly talented deep 'n wide squad

We have the players - go make it happen, Vito....... our Next Level investment deserves it
Has anyone noticed that this cretin only surfaces when we're doing badly?

Definitely a scummer.

Key and Ronald should be no where near this team and replaced in January (ideally on the 1st Jan). Cullen should not be starting, however he seems to do OK when coming on as a sub. Fulton did OK last night but he should only be starting when we have injuries and suspensions.

Starting XI I would like to see is

Vigouroux

Casey Cabango Burgess Tymon

Galbraith Yalcouye

EOM Widdell Inoussa

Vipotnik
I scibbled a few possibilities on a piece of paper last night and that is exactly the lineup I settled on (y)(y)

Why hasnt Yalcouye been playing? Id forgotten about him. Im so done with Eom. Id rather start Benson and see if he can play throught the shyteness. (I know hes been terrible but he cant be any worse that Eom)He also isnt going to get any better sat on the bench.

Thanks for that. I was going to call them on Friday to pick up a reprint at the game.
Turns out I already have the email with the ticket attached but didn’t realise 🤣
It was just pure luck that I looked as the title was confirmation of purchase and thought why have I got it twice.
I could quite easily have deleted it.

It will be really interesting to see what the team looks like Saturday after VM has had a chance to watch that players more and - I assume - watch some previous games as well to get an idea of what he's got at his disposal.

I'm not out on the streets advocating for it, but I don't care if Fulton plays to be honest; I can understand Matos thinking it's a good idea to have a guy whose been here 10 years and played 300 games in the top 2 divisions on the pitch when there's so much uncertainty around this team; at least in the short-term. Depends what VM asks him to do and can he do it.

Cullen needs to be binned though, he was atrocious the other day.

Can we just play without a right-hand side? Novel new formation consisting of just central and left-sided players? If not, play Galbraith at RB and maybe Idah in front of him as suggested above? anything but Key and Ronald/Benson.

While a point or three would be great, especially given where we are in the table, it's the performance that I think matters most. If we go up there and play in a positive manner and have a chance at a result (I said on Tuesday that even if Cabango's header had gone in to make it 2-1, I had no confidence we'd scrape a draw given how poorly we were playing), that should theoretically give us confidence going into a couple of games we have to get positive results in.

That’s exactly what I did, thought it was just a confirmation. Luckily I don’t delete confirmation emails until the ticket arrives.
The subject says “Confirmation of Swansea Booking”, which is misleading. It should state a ticket is attached.
Thanks again 👍
