Bit like people who used to say Scott Sinclair had a s**t goalscoring record if you took away the penalties. But ignored how many he played a huge part in winning.

SS would superb. That doesnt detract from the fact CH weakens us from open play, which is evident from the last three games

Bit reductive that. We didn't look weakened with him against Forest in the Cup or against Rotherham. The whole team are playing poorly and while accommodating Connor may be part of the problem, it won't be the whole problem.

Besides, it's irrelevant while he's scoring and assisting goals, he has to play.

I think what you fail to understand is that all teams struggle during periods. This is our period. The problem is that even in our good periods there are moaning bastards happy to criticise the smallest issues, like yourself

Sometimes we just need to go with it, hope for the result and let the team regain the form and performance we know they can without incessant bitching and whining about Hourihane being on the left and how dreadful he is

Feels like shutting up shop to me. Taking off our only 2 creative outlets to make us more solid in the middle. Fingers crossed he's made the right call.

Let's not be misleading here in that he has his weaknesses but let's also not be completely blind to what he has added to the team. And that is before you remember that Grimes has scored a few since his arrival because he is off set pieces and around to sit on the edge of the area.
