Love the guy, had more clubs than the average golfer, but its not worth complaining to the officials after the decision is made.
loves a good rant, does 'ol NeilπŸ‘

I thought today we were dreadful for the whole match and deserved nothing never mind 3 points

Would be good to see a passing accuracy analysis as most our players would be in single figure percentages ..

Our midfield has real issues , can't see how you can play Hourihane and Grimes in the same side, Fulton for all his battling qualities lacks any link play and creativity and was a poor passenger today. Smith offers us something different and Dhanda gets bullied out of games so our strikers get scraps of service.

However.. we keep winning which is strangely bizarre, we play route 1 football and we have a very good back 5 ...

We are missing midfielders who are creative bullies and we seem to see them in most teams we play against and we are seriously lacking a MGW type midfielder or even a Leroy Fer presence and we do get intimated out of the midfield battles often on fitness levels too.

But the table position and results are there, Cooper can defend himself while we are still competing at the top so this is one very strange season no doubt

I disagree, it was a difficult game with an even first half, there’s no way we were dreadful for the whole match.

I am sorry but that is complete bollocks

Cooper has his weaknesses and learning curves but you don't push for promotion if your manager is rubbish

For someone in your position, you should be thoroughly ashamed for calling our manager rubbish. We've got no money, we beg borrow and steal players, our owners are tight as arseholes and we're still pushing for automatic promotion.
Hang your head.

I do like the guy though, total character. He always speaks his mind and even when he's raging he still has a laugh at the end of it. I think Middlesbrough were hard done by today but we gained points and I won at the bookies so certainly ain't gonna complain at all.

Colin going on about Coopers old man during the game, on Sky in the post match interview & to the press afterwards is poor. The bloke is a tw@t.
Well done to Steve Cooper for not reacting to it.

Agree about Tommy Tank, he really does my head in as he's always deadly serious whenever he moans and he moans a lot. Old Colin just makes me laugh though.

Colin is sound. You know he’s a twat but he reacts like a fan would. Not professional but honest and likeable enough.

One thing I’d like to see back is the disallowed goal. As soon as Fulton was tackled I thought foul so when did the ref blow? If it was before the strike it wasn’t a disallowed goal.

Whistle just before the shot was made so I don't feel *that* bad for them.

The brentford forum is gold. They really hate us. Pages 3 and 4 of todays thread are a feast of joy turned to petulant tears.

I think I'd hate us if I was a rival fan mind. What we've done this week is funny as hell. They think we are divers and cheats...I don't see it myself. We're not easy on the eye, that's for sure, but Ayew and Canos are pretty equal in the slut drop and roll around stakes. If anything Canos is the biggest cynic in that he is always looking to get people sent of with his exaggerated dives.

We might well fall away, but weeks like this week after the Bristol nonsense are just there to be enjoyed to the full. I don't think we've ever seen the like...and it to be at the Stoke pighole and against Colin is just impossibly sweet.

You do have to wonder why the referees hate Swansea so much, because they seem to have made a pact amongst themselves to get us out of the Championship as soon as possible.

The Brentford goal was a good one and, sorry, that wasn't a penalty so we should have lost 1-2, and while I'm obviously not complaining, the team does need to start playing good football again which we haven't been doing for a while now.

Could have gone any of three ways that, depending on what colour tint is on your goggles. Could have been a foul either way or play on.

With my white tints on I believe (I really do, looking at it) that Jay was fouled before Bolasie (?) toed the ball away for his mate to shoot. That stopped Jay from simply clearing the ball, and why he ended up kicking Bolasie's foot. I'm quite impressed the referee got both that and the penalty (which was clear, no matter what tint) absolutely right. I think where we were lucky is that 75% of the time the wrong call would have been made on the first and 50% of the time on the second.

Its probably easier for us to be philosophical about it (not going up) We've been there got the trophy and the T shirt. The desperation on that forum is palpable and oh so palatable. If they weren't such a mahoosive bunch of cntmonkeys I might even feel sorry for them
