Colin is sound. You know he’s a twat but he reacts like a fan would. Not professional but honest and likeable enough.

One thing I’d like to see back is the disallowed goal. As soon as Fulton was tackled I thought foul so when did the ref blow? If it was before the strike it wasn’t a disallowed goal.

Whistle just before the shot was made so I don't feel *that* bad for them.

That’s what I was thinking. If he took the shot after the whistle there’s nothing to bleat about.

You do have to wonder why the referees hate Swansea so much, because they seem to have made a pact amongst themselves to get us out of the Championship as soon as possible.

The Brentford goal was a good one and, sorry, that wasn't a penalty so we should have lost 1-2, and while I'm obviously not complaining, the team does need to start playing good football again which we haven't been doing for a while now.

Can’t think for the life of me why anyone would think that wasn’t a pen.

Pen every time. The thing that I think might have stopped it being given was the speed of the incident, the direction of the ball, and the position of the ref. That's why I think half the time the wrong decision might be made.

All my life in fact.

I had a good look at that on Quest tonight and the ref made the correct decision. The Boro player got to the ball slightly ahead of Jay and toe poked it to the 'scorer', but in the same movement his trailing leg wraps around Jay's leg as he's falling and trips our boy. What I would call when I was reffing, playing man AND ball at the same time. A foul, pure and simple.
The penalty was much harder to call. A nightmare for any ref. I think we might have got the rub of the green there.

Oh, and a last comment, the lino missed an offside in the build up to Boro's equaliser, so that should have been chalked off.

First time posting but season ticket holder for thirty years. I enjoy reading all the views even the ones I disagree with, every one is entitled to there views. For me today even though we weren’t great woodman didn’t have to make a save . The back 4/5 done what they had to do and apart from goal and Duncan wattmeore chance I can’t remember us ever being in trouble. The not allowed goal was obviously blown up for before he hit it ,even he must of heard the whistle meaning he had a free hit with no pressure on it.Definitely a penalty for us. So for me even though we weren’t great ,apart from attacking us the second half with out any chances created why did colins teams deserve 3 points. If it was visa versa we’d be complaining about lack of penetration

Well both murray and ashton didn't agree with either decisions, I think after watching them again I'm 50/50, I'm hoping that these contentious decisions don't come back to bite us on the arse, refs in our future games could be swayed by all the moaning.

Also did you notice them both just stare at the camera for a few seconds after they showed the highlights?

Yes, I did notice that, they were trying to discredit Cooper's comments sarcastically, which was the last thing shown before they cut back to the studio. They're entitled to their opinion, I think they are wrong on Fulton and the penalty was 50:50.

I don't really see how there's so much outrage over our penalty, perhaps because of the timing of it? But he's dived in the box, fully committed and got the man so I really don't see an issue.

I don't know if I've been watching the same sport for the last couple of years to be honest with the reaction? In the Premier League with VAR, the slightest bit of contact and it's a penalty and that was far more than that. It's a fully committed tackle that takes the man, and it's a foul. It's not our fault that they've decided to make a completely needless slide tackle in their own box with a minute to play.

Neil Warnock though Fulton on Bolasie was a penalty, and there was a fraction of the contact that Saville put on Bidwell.

As for building a reputation over the incident, even if you don't think it's a pen it's not like Bidwell dived is it? Every side are on their feet calling for a penalty if that happens to them.

Blaze, look at it again. It was never an obvious penalty (personally I don't think that it was a penalty at all), so it shouldn't have been given. We got lucky, so let's us all promise not to complain if a referee gives us a dodgy decision against us from now until the end of the season. We've gained 4 points from referees' controversial decisions against Stoke and Boro and that might get us promoted,

Disagree Glyn. I can see why both the Stoke and Boro penalties were given. The only decision I thought we were lucky with with was the supposed foul on Fulton, but as the referee blew his whistle before the player struck the ball it's impossible to know if he'd have gone on to hit the back of the net had the whistle not gone. Speaking of butterfly effect, you claimed that they should've had the first 'goal' as well as their actual goal and won 2-1 - but it doesn't work like that. Different pattern of play, different outcome. We're now using chaos theory to give the lads a dig; give me a one-eyed passionate fan any day of the week
