The problem is that in many of your posts you sound pleased about it to be honest.

At this stage of the season we get points how we get them. For 40 years Warnock has managed to set up sides that are incredibly difficult to play against. They’re niggly, in your face, disruptive, spoil any attempts to establish a rhythm. It’s why he is so sought after at this level.

To win against one of his teams, particularly at the business end of the season is a great achievement. However it’s achieved.

Finishing in the top two of this division is so difficult we’ve never done it in 109 years of trying. We stand a great chance this season. Let’s all cherish every single point, whether it comes from glorious football or a succession of lucky deflections.

Both manager and team are young and learning. They may not be playing great, but they certainly don’t deserve the barrage of criticism that’s coming their way every week.

Dear God, if this is bad football, the years spent watching teams that quite genuinely make this lot look like one of the great Brazil teams would have been far too much for some on here. You’d have been having a heart attack every week.

I think this is key at the minute.
Very few of these players have had anything to do with a prolonged promotion battle. Even last season we were free to do what we wanted because we were such long shots for the play offs.

The pressure on us to perform every week I think is hampering us. Too afraid to lose and that's making us very conservative.
Both players and manager have a lot to learn and hopefully we can be a bit more expressive if we get the points on the board from the games in hand.

Coops made good point post match. They finding it difficult to play the good stuff with the schedule. I kinda get that, we are looking bit shagged out, but the spirit is immense. We will click back into gear I'm sure, be nice to show the inbreds exactly what wer all about in a couple of weeks.

Nah, I hope they let it slide. Life's too short, we need more open and honest opinions, more colourful characters like Colin and more entertaining! Oh and ban fines too. Perhaps refereeing (and some of our referees will be invited to the world cup) will improve it criticism is permissible.

I'd prefer to see the referees actually be questioned in the same way players/managers can

The players/managers can't hide when they have had a stinker, referees should be the same.

Reminding me of watching Monk's side at the moment. It's a pretty awful watch, but then the nerves that come with the pressure of pushing for top 2 kind of override that. I'm finding it draining just watching, so god knows how the players feel.

This is a very good point. With everyone else winning, it feels like every time we step on the pitch it's a must win. It must have a massive effect on a young inexperienced bunch. As you say, it's doing my head in watching it.

The players/managers can't hide when they have had a stinker, referees should be the same.

I agree that refs should have to answer for their decisions but nobody is really interested in the ref apart from the decisions they disagree with.
Put the ref in front of the camera & they'll just be a target.
Managers aren't generally honest about mistakes made by their own players.
Colin wasn't asked about 2 of his players challenging each other & gifting the chance for our first goal, far easier to let him drone on about the officials
