It's going to be a tough game Saturday. Cardiff are doing well.

Another point on the board, against a decent side, I'll take that.

I was expecting more from B'mouth thought they looked poor myself.
Yep me too, scrappy game, neither really looked like scoring.
Well probably be the happiest in fairness.

Outstanding result against a Prem league team.

Cooper and the boys did a number on them. Palmer and Gyokeres not only closed the game out by pushing the oppo back on their heels, but we took the game to them in the closing stages. Odd that some fail to see this. Clearly never kicked a ball.

Grimes motm. The spine is looking good.

What game were you watching you clown Gyorkeres was truly awful not one single touch of his went to a team mate. Imho the worst player to have worn the shirt in the last 4 years.

Not enjoying this....crap game.

No? I’m on the edge of my seat. Two good teams cancelling each other out. Could go either way.

Our lack of quality up front, apart from Ayew, was glaring tonight. There were a couple of occasions in the second half where we had one man to beat to go forward for a strike on goal but we just weren’t good enough. My thoughts went back to Alan Curtis in those positions.

Mate, I love a bit of positivity, I really do. I think it may be possible to take it too far though. This isn't a thread full of posters who like to complain about something even when we're playing great football and flying high in the table.

The results are very good, the defence is excellent, the placing in the table is also excellent. Our passing, attacking play and especially goal scoring are clearly not good. We're grinding out results and that's to be commended, but it's clear that improvements are needed if we're going to finish the season in the playoff places or better.

I thought that the team played well and really felt we were going to nick it towards the end, Bournemouth were somewhat “professional” from beginning to end, the ref allowed them to delay everyone of our free kicks by standing over ball or kicking it away which prevented us from making a quick transition.

The obvious weak link is up front where if we had someone to run at the defence with pace we would be winning games we are currently drawing. I enjoyed the game just on the basis that we really know how to roll up our sleeves and work hard as a team. That back line is constantly being disrupted but they still work very well as a unit, a sign of good coaching.

Definitely a night where we set up looking to make sure that we didn't concede first and foremost and it worked. Bournemouth were unable to break down a well organised and structured team. For this Cooper needs to get and take the credit

Sadly though we don't look dangerous enough up front, not just in this game but for most of the season - when Ayew is quiet it is difficult to see where the goals are coming from - there certainly aren't many in our midfield at the best of times

Tough game on Saturday ahead, think they have now won four on the bounce?

Excellent post and a breath of fresh air for the usual doom merchants to mull over. Thoroughly enjoying for the discerning, intelligent football fan.

The overtly negative few now need to think before they post. Or they will continue to look more and more foolish and out of touch.

Time for some of the clueless to find a new hobby.

Haven’t seen a kick of football tonight, or even a match day thread for that matter. It seems that we did ok up against a good side; most on here appear to be satisfied with a point.

Kyle Naughton was quite often seen to be pressing their midfield but still getting back into position when required, such a good player for the youngsters to look up to.

We were at home with a chance to go top of the league and failed to have a shot on target, their goal keeper may as well have sat in the stand.

Thought the back three were terrific against a very mobile attack. Thought young Latibeaudiere did very well alongside ben and kyle.
