positives
Morris getting a run, which he looks like he needs
No main players getting injured (so far)
Were you expecting to win this against the team that are making prem teams look average ?

No not really but come on, it’s not Man City making us look bad, we’re making it easy for them. Another ‘off day’ for us. We’re better than we’re showing.

They had a break out then from their own box, and had more players in our box than we had, thats fairly impressive. Now we bringing on some more new players, tidy x

Don’t know why I’m seeing so many people saying they are happy with this or that this a good performance from us. We’re either nowhere near as good as we think we are or we’ve approached this in completely the wrong fashion, again.

It shows we have a lot of players or a mentality that is nowhere near premier league. They struggled to put away Sheffield United, who gave them a much harder game and we hope to swap places. We still show no idea of how to get around a press. It's getting pathetic now. Press us and we'll give you the ball. Like as if we train by passing it around the penalty area with no one near us. Mancs had 6 players pressing us in our half. There has to be space behind that for accurate passes and players to push up.

To be fair Liverpoo couldn't cope with their press, but you think we'd have some ideas beyond an aimless hoof anywhere from Woodman.

Still I don't care. One season to get the finances straight would be fine for me, as long as they don't 'chase the dream'.

This is really bad. We'll be licking our wounds for weeks, and it'll be costly. How can you go 0-3 down and not make subs asap? That's like saying you're doing great guys, crack on.

Good idea, we couldn't cope with brentfords press, which is more of an issue for me than struggling against this lot

oh come on

What is the point in analysing this performance?

If we were taking this game seriously we wouldn't have rested 3 of our best players. Our aim was to stay in the game as long as possible and nick something if we could. No one cared if we lost and you can see that in the effort levels.

We'll have forgotten this by tomorrow I hope.

I'd settle for 0-3 though! 1-3 would be fantastic, but that's unlikely.

It was a shot to nothing. Move on.

get the new guys on, see if they're good enough to win it from here

You've got your wish. They won't be good enough to do anything from here, but it's good game time for them.

We could have coped better with Brentford though, that’s the point, we’re better than that. That’s the problem when the fruitcakes and the happy clappies say it’s fine because we got a point. It’s warning to get our attitude right.

Connor was just staring to heat up so perfectly happy to see him off and avoiding a silly card
