• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

We'll have forgotten this by tomorrow I hope.

I'd settle for 0-3 though! 1-3 would be fantastic, but that's unlikely.

It was a shot to nothing. Move on.

They will talk in the cooldown and changing room after the game ends, perhaps use some game footage to train for other games but no sleep will be lost tonight over this and tomorrow they will be all smiles and raring to go for the next game.

fackin hell some right hissy fitters on here tonight - this man city team will win the league by double digits ffs. Lack of concentration in first 5 mins of second half otherwise we looked like we could get something.

"this is really really bad" fuck off

Let’s be honest, no one gives a shite about the FA cup, fans or players, and it shows. We put a rotated team out against top of the PL, a league that they are making look easy. This is compounded by the fact that we’re in a promotion battle.

No one cares. We’re out. It’ll be forgotten by tomorrow and it’ll be back to normal business on the weekend.

Don’t know why I’m seeing so many people saying they are happy with this or that this a good performance from us. We’re either nowhere near as good as we think we are or we’ve approached this in completely the wrong fashion, again.

It shows we have a lot of players or a mentality that is nowhere near premier league. They struggled to put away Sheffield United, who gave them a much harder game and we hope to swap places. We still show no idea of how to get around a press. It's getting pathetic now. Press us and we'll give you the ball. Like as if we train by passing it around the penalty area with no one near us. Mancs had 6 players pressing us in our half. There has to be space behind that for accurate passes and players to push up.

To be fair Liverpoo couldn't cope with their press, but you think we'd have some ideas beyond an aimless hoof anywhere from Woodman.

Still I don't care. One season to get the finances straight would be fine for me, as long as they don't 'chase the dream'.

mon i like your posts usually but this is an overreaction of epic proportions.

It's a shame that 45 mins of great defending has been let down by 4 mins of brain farts.

And fwiw it wont be a problem for our confidence at all, we have 3 players coming on making their debuts, getting vital gametime and morris has had 45mins.

To be fair I'd love to win the FA cup, but reality has to pop up when we, as a promotion chasing side are playing the most on form team in the prem. I think its about learning nd apart from a few mistakes we've performed as good as most bottom half prem league teams have against them. bearing in mind were still introducing new players to the team, and good quality ones at that. Im happy. lets look forward to smashing the owls 3-0

I don’t think anyone will care about the result. I thought we’d give a better account of ourselves though.

And that's why you play the new boys!
Getting some confidence into the rest of the squad.
