Any result is fine as long as no injuries/suspensions are picked up

The last part of that is very relevant - win or lose it would be very painful to have a couple of injuries and a needless suspension

Agreed. If we were something like 12th or 13th in the table, this game would be a very welcome distraction from what was probably turning into a rather mundane season but, as we are all too aware, that is certainly not the case. It seems odd to think that we have bigger fish to fry than a free hit at a team like Man City, but that is the reality of where we are. For them, they also have bigger fish to fry to be fair. Unlike us, they will certainly have realistic aspirations to win the FAC but I'm sure they'd choose winning the Champions League and/or the Premier League over the FAC every day. Their next 4 games are against Spurs, Everton, Arsenal and Monchengladbach so a game against Swansea is a minor irritant. A different world.

You’d have thought they could afford a bus with a toilet in it.

Last time we rolled over and had our belly tickled was when Carvahal rested just about everyone against Spurs in the quarter final. Momentum was lost and we capitulated thereafter.

A very strong forward line-up for the mancs. I hope the ref watches out for that facking diver

City not taking any chances here, strong team there..... think Cooper might have been Suprised when he saw the City line up.

Big game for the two 20yr olds and one 21yr old in defence for us.

Very strong team put out tonight by Pep, he's definitely taking us seriously.

They can all trouble us, but the one who really worrys me is İlkay Gündoğan - he's in the form of his life.

If we win, fvcking brilliant. If we lose, unlucky - I'll still go to bed and dream about getting my season ticket for the Premier League next season. 😇

Just watching the highlights of the last time we played them, Celina's goal is absolutely beautiful. Mariner and the linesman completely fucked us with the penalty and the offisde. Even Nordfeldt had a great game!

Pleased we've picked quite a strong team, league is obviously the proirty but no reason why we can't have a go at them tonight as well.
