Hope the usual beauts enjoyed the game from their regular seats in the stand.

Enjoyed that more than I was expecting. We weren’t on the beach, although it was a pretty strange atmosphere. One minute bouncing, then dead then bouncing again. I loved how we kept going even though there was nothing riding on it other than pride.

Glad you enjoyed it, wish I was there. Looking forward to coming over next season, hopefully with a new manager in place.

I know vino is cheaper than water out there mush but I’d be careful if I was you.

Was the Lati barge a foul then? Maybe Piroe's effort would have gone in anyway but I was thinking the ref may disallow it

Enjoyed that game. I went in not really caring about the result, but I was sat in the North West corner about 20 seats from the WBA fans, one mouthy skinny little twat give me abuse all game for some reason, possibly because I gave it back. I’ve been on a crutch the last 2 years due to a spinal problem, but boy when that winner went in, I haven’t moved so fast in the last 24 months 😂 It felt like I just teleported right next to the barrier, that riled him and his pals up even more, about 4 or 5 of them tried getting over the barrier but the stewards saved the day 🤣 very uncharacteristic for me, but I fucking loved it 😂

Now THAT is what it's all about, fantastic!

Looking back on the season 2022/2023 can be largely defined by two things:

1. That 22 game stretch where we could barely buy a win, I think it was 12 points out of 66 on offer which was very much bottom of the league relegation form.

2. Very much contributing to the above was our weaknesses defensively, conceding a lot of late goals which cost us an absurd amount of points - many of those goals of which were completely self inflicted with RM sticking stubbornly to a style of play that could only be described as kamikaze football.

As for the RM in/out debate? Right now I am decidedly on the fence, more games like Norwich away and less games like Stoke at home and I could get behind RM for one more season. On the flipside I wouldn't be hugely upset if the speculation of Leicester wanting RM in the summer comes to fruition and we bring back Rodgers or Potter.

If our results had been spread out more evenly through the season, we'd all be shrugging our shoulders now after the final game and saying "close, but at the end of the day we weren't quite good enough".
The trouble is, we had a twenty game run in the middle of the season where we looked and played like nailed on relegation candidates, bracketed by two runs where we've looked like world beaters. It's very hard to explain or rationalise, and it's left us all thinking we've missed a great opportunity.

The bad and the good of Martin was there to see again today in an entertaining match.
We keep our shape when in possession and keep moving the ball (not always quickly enough) and scored three goals which make us the fourth highest scorers in the league. Very good.

We gift wrapped yet another goal to the opposition because the system doesn’t allow us to play what’s in front of us and when the opposition’s press has us in trouble, we aren’t allowed to put our foot through it. This stubbornness has cost us a play off place and an unwillingness to adapt and keep making the same mistakes over and over is stupid management. Very poor.
