• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Ipswich should have been out of sight by now, 4-1 at least. Most likely we'll get a hammering second half, but maybe the football gods have kept it to 2-1 for a reason.....

One pass and they are through us every time. Often offside, often not. Mostly lowed to carry on anyway. They are playing the last man shoulder superbly.

Carving us up like a Matthews turkey

Ffs get Yates off. He looks like a lost schoolboy.

has contributed nothing this half and would rather see Cullen up there instead which gives us the option of another body in midfield, maybe Cooper or Walsh or maybe take Pato off as well and put both of them on

Time for a bit of keep ball, me thinks, slow it down a bit, they are loving the pace of the game.

What do you think we've been doing? Sideways, sideways, pass forward, first touch straight back, then to the keeper who takes a poor touch and has to welly it.

It has the feel to me of Forest under the Russbot. Just chance after chance after we nick a goal.

We need to come out and play a bit deeper. More compact. Not fall apart and concede 6. Tighten up and hope to get a break. Slow them down by marking their runners properly. Forget the press, they are destroying it.

61% possession evidences your point. 30% of that has been Grimes and Fulton end of the pier show five yard wall passes to each other.

We’ve had our moments. As Sham says, funny game is football. Anything can happen.
