We did the double over them, so it's hardly a surprise. They're rubbish.Blackburn hit for 5, sheesh.
They'd probably have been relegated without Szmodics. he's been outstandingWe did the double over them, so it's hardly a surprise. They're rubbish.
They fell into the same problem as us - they became obsessed with having a "Plan B". For us, that involved becoming more of a huff and puff side, like them. For them, they thought they'd try becoming a footballing side, like us. It worked, briefly, for both sides. But both lost their identity in the process, and never really got it back. You have to wonder what's happening at Stoke though. They've always had more money than us, been able to attract 'better' players, but they've ended up with a squad that makes ours look good.
Yeah, he's good and won't be playing their next season. Tbh, they really relied on the Chilean (he's not really) and it shows. They'd probably have been relegated without Szmodics. he's been outstanding

They've fared slightly worse than us because tried using the parachute payments to go straight back up, failed badly, and are now paying for it. Fortunately, we have never really gambled like that.
Very good post. The need of a plan B is only if you aren't good enough for plan AThey fell into the same problem as us - they became obsessed with having a "Plan B". Nah we're safe, plus we have goal difference over the bottom dwellers. Can see the Owls beating them though on the weekend. Stoke are in real trouble. One more win mathematically guarantees safety but I don't think we will need it.
