• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Just highlights why he's not the right choice as manager over a forty six game season.
To be fair bench was weak. I am not in defence of Sheehan. But I also understood he had 1 eye on Saturday.

No doubt sub bench is lacking. Our best 11 was out there. Fulton, looked like he was strolling at one point. And Cooper I think is trying to get game time. Naughton was being experienced, I had no problem with that. I would like next season a few under 21 and fresh faces.
Well next season we have Ronald, Parker, Govea, Ginnelly, Bianchini, Eom who can all play the wing and none of them are over 25 except for Ginnelly (28)

Sorry I don't buy in to that.

Could have brought Parker on for Allen and slotted Eom in to the ten role and putting Parker out wide.

Fulton offers the team nothing, especially a team playing free flowing football.

Type of game where the likes of Parker should be getting minutes over players like Fulton.

Christ that's one hell of a take
I'm not criticising the performance, three lovely goals and a lot of beautiful football.
I'm just saying we don't have a lot on the bench when it's time to make changes, which is something which needs addressing in the summer if we have any ambition.

Agreed

I was disappointed to see Fulton on rather than moving Eom to his preferred 10 position and Parker or Bianchini on to play the wing. Fulton didn't even do much in the game either, luckily Plymouth were already mentally on the coach back home by that point

I agree with that with Fulton. I would of liked more under 21 options. Ben Lloyd. Next Season will be good to see Kyrell Wilson.

Basically like playing with ten men with him the pitch.

It was the only disappointing thing on what was a very good night for us.

We don't have a lot left to play for this season. It's the ideal opportunity to give these lads a taste of first team football.

Is Sheehan brave enough? I have my doubts.

Me too. I know he has been watching alot of Under 21. But he may feel that he doesn't want to gamble in order to show the board he is the right man.

Or on the flip side if he can get performances out of the youngsters it makes us less reliant on the transfer market and gives us the potential to create academy players with some value to sell on when needed to balance the books.

Good thinking 👏👏. They did say at forum the under 21 players will be given opportunities. Sunderland will be a test and won't be as easy. I proberly would experiment after this.
