• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

At last, we show some balls, determination and fight. Bango was immense, so was Naughton, who I had my doubts about before kick off, so was Franco. Bianchini ran his socks off closing them down. O'Brien looks like a hell of a signing and he'll get better as he gains match fitness. Bluddy brilliant second half - for once.

Loved that show of togetherness at the end of the game, let’s show it every match no excuses.

Fck me, forgot how good that felt.
Papered over cracks, but for today that second half was best for months. Nice to see bitta pride in the shirt, and chuft to fck for those who went.
Now
Time for a large bottle of red.

What a smash and grab that was. And to think if we took our golden chances we could've won by more. Football is an odd game for sure.

So where do we go from here? Was the first twenty really that bad and was this down to playing three at back? Or is this something work persevering with?

Just seen the two new threads re our temporary midfield general. Those speak volumes.

Find a solution to play out instead of aimlessly kicking long, sure up the defence of set pieces and that’s a good foundation set today. I don’t mind Ronald playing wing back in games we expect to dominate. Key or Parker away though please. Thoroughly enjoyed Naughton’s performance it was sublime. Both signings improve us which is good. EOM needed that goal hopefully he will get one.

Smash and grab fucking hell

He’s still shit. We’re going one direction with him. The players aren’t great but they are better than he’s making them look. He needs to be kicked out when we are safe. He’ll fist pump now, the twat. Something for the fans though I suppose, so fair enough. Better than sprinting down the tunnel like he would have if we’d lost anyway.

Anyway, we did deserve that. We had by far the best real chances. Massive win. Happy.
Yes Willy ain't the answer, but yes, let's drink this win in against them horrible wurzel bastards.

I think the priority is to stay in this league.
Hopefully with Darling coming back it gives us a bit more stability with the back 3 and we can revisit the Luke Williams situation in the summer.

Onto Wednesday on Wednesday 😁 and look to come out of that without a defeat.

question is - how does the back 3 line up with Darling back? Naughton was comfortable in that role today. A great option to have at least.

Extremely happy.

More of the second half performance please. Dug deep and showed a battling quality to defend the goal. Got lucky a few times but overall showed the players cared.
Still think Eom & Cullen were weak links but a battle was needed and Williams could have made changes earlier.
On to Wednesday now and hopefully another three points and things could look a lot brighter.
