Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Burnley FC 1 Swansea City FC 0 | The EFL Championship

Haven't been this pissed off in a long time. Totally undeserved. Good performance considering a few played shite. Got a fortnight to calm down though. Enjoy the rest of the squabbling.

Fucking disgusting, can someone explain to me why we can’t have VAR in a league where promotion is so lucrative? What’s the excuse this time….

Spot on.

Standard of refereeing in this country is a disgrace.

Did you see the Liverpool game last night? The fella in charge was awful.
I did and he was dreadful but then he usually is. I don't know where they pluck them from, honestly I don't.

Unfortunately VAR would have given that as his arm was in the air, so not a natural position. Gutted though.

Although we’re starting to look like we’ve got the basis of a good little (literally!) side. A decent AM, new striker and another wide option with a bit of class and things could look pretty good for the future 👍

Good performance , in all honesty if the penalty had occurred at the opposite end we’d have all said …stonewall!!

We have 2 transfer windows to get us into a position to go at it properly next season. Hopefully the 'new' owners back Williams and whoever will replace Watson in strengthening the areas we need + get the out of contract players tied up.

Sickening way to lose as we did match them for most of the game. On chances, if anyone, they would win.

Their Cullen should have been sent off which could have changed the game.

In saying that our own Cullen should have joined him later on.

Overall a positive performance but still highlights our failings in the attacking third,

Sometimes seemed to lack energy and enthusiasm, but that's maybe the side effect of the old regime.
Style of play was enough to drain the energy and enthusiasm out of anyone.

Any glimpse of getting the ball forward as soon as possible and they'd get hooked.

I'm obviously gutted, haven't seen the incident back yet so I don''t know if it was a fair decision or not, but we were so feckin weak again in attack. Poor crosses and poor shooting. We desperately need more quality up front.
