Well that would liven the fanbase.

Three things stand out for me about us in that half.
1. We can't finish to save our lives.
2. We are appalingly weak in the tackle and lose all 50/50 challenges.
3. We very rarely attack from our own half with pace, as soon as the ball gets to someone in midfield, they chose the safe option of turning back instead of keeping the forward move going, giving the opposition time to reorganise.
I'd say those three things are fatal, and if we can't change, we are going down.

How often do we concede just in and around half time!?


We need 2 wingers, and attacking midfielder and striker.
Absolute no quality in the final 3rd and just more pressure on us defensively.

We've got a CAM on the wing, a winger up front and a striker playing CAM. Says it all

Constantly see Grimes pushing his hand down at the side telling the players to slow down.

After looking like we were the better side that happens. Well taken goal but almost comical defending when, once again, there was no need to be in that position. Incidentally Captain Marvelous nearly let them in for a second moments later because he can't defend without fouling.

At least it would give a new manager a fair amount of time to assess what we've got before getting rid of half of them in the summer.

Gave the goal away just before half time instead of just after. Terrible defending.

We're also a 1 half team and that was our half, so don't expect any miracles. Just damage limitation the 2nd half. It's seriously difficult to have anything other than a negative outlook these days

You can blame players for mistakes and missed chances.

You can't blame them for how consistently we are beaten in transition. We push so many people forward that nobody is able to cover the acres of grass they leave behind.

Just copy and paste from previous week's. Clueless, gutless, no leadership, confidence vacuum. Walking football with no idea, let alone determination to score. It's as good an indicator that LW has lost these players as anything. No other explanation for this consistent shocking level of performance

Half time thoughts:

Delcroix looks excellent, composed on the ball, good positional sense and good at sensing where the danger is

Peart Harris has been shockingly bad, the only time I realise he is on the pitch is when he gives it away for the nth time

Grimes playing in defensive positions is killing us, he should be the player showing in or around the centre circle and dictating the tempo of our game

Bianchini and Cullen feeding off scraps, every time we do beat the press we pass it straight back to the defenders and start over

Ronald having one of his better games, Tymon has not helped him by being too lazy to offer an overlapping run. Since Tymon doesn't defend worth a damn either it makes me wonder why we bother playing him, normally its his delivery but the corner he took in the 35th minute was laughably bad

Almost all of this can be pointed at Williams, with no tempo the forward players with pace can't get in behind Norwich and offer an attacking threat. It either needs a perfect ball or a mistake, he can do us all a favour and not bother getting on the bus back in my eyes.

In the first 25 mins they were crying out for a shoeing. The crowd were on their back, they were edgy. They were rubbish.

What do we do? Treat it like a Sunday morning hangover stroll. They gradually grow in confidence, and by the end of the half we're lucky we're not 2-0 down.

It's crap. We're absolute crap.
