Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Portsmouth 4 Swansea City 0 | The EFL Championship

Might be the case and know no different myself but the question should be, why doesn't he as he isnt doing a bad job.

Seems there might be some sort of poison that is preventing things moving forward.
Absolutely but perhaps he signed his own departure by allowing a sub standard captain to take over dressing room team talks.

And then deliver better outcomes when doing it

Thing is, even if Williams goes, we get a replacement and he doesn't deliver then the blame will be on what Williams left behind with some.

We have a bigger issue than the Manager for me.

If you don’t think today was Williams doing a bad job - stick to watching PT Town Dapsy.

Today was a classic Williams induced tragedy - in stark contrast to the magnificence of our previous two outings under the proper management quorum, delivered and executed with aplomb by our leader and captain.

Your standards of analysis are regressing at the same rate as we’ve been down-spiralling under Williams’ Martinesque capitulation.

Your a bit thick and obviously very gullible to what someone is feeding you.

So when we win it's when grimes leads but when we lose it's Williams?
Doesn't say Much about your beloved grimes then when we win as much as we lose then does it?

When we play to the right playbook and optimise our talented young assets, we win

When we resort to Williams’s self indulgent nonsensical ways a la Martin playbook we’re shite.

It’s that simple

No he's not doing a bad job. He's doing an absolutely fecking awful job. Useless bald cvnt. 🙄

Wow. That was dreadful.
Missing Franco not only allowed Fulton to play (absolutely dreadful) but also showed quite how much Franco shields grimes.

We are at the very at least one, probably two, central midfielders, one winger, one full back and one striker away from mounting any sort of challlenge on this frankly mediocre league. And hoping none get injured.

Two hours I’ll never get back.

BTW - if Williams is going to go, do it now, and if not, make it clear now.

Same with the Darling contract.

Happy New Year all. May 2025 bring all health and happiness.

Happy New Year to you as well, and that second paragraph pretty much nails it.

Good post Lisa.....exellent infact.

I think it's a post with a lot of sense and mainly one that is being honest with ones self with the club they love.
As proven with some posts, it's easy to get carried away when it comes to your own club.

And Happy New Year to yourself also 🎉👍

Basically showed how paper thin the squad is.
Our very best 11 are a top 8 side. Otherwise it's bottom 6. The jeopardy is there in plain sight.

When have we ever been in the top 8 with our best XI?
Yep. We've never (to my remembrance) been in the bottom six either.

Our squad is pretty bog standard for a bog standard division. Nowhere near the best, nowhere near the worst. Capable of punting for the playoffs if well coached and organised, capable of dicing at the lower end if poorly coached and organised. That's been the case since we came down.

Much the same as most other clubs in this division. Lacking the resources of the recently relegated, having more about us than the strugglers. Every season is basically the same.

Brilliantly put J.
