• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

No chance of getting rid of that pudding, Williams now.

Funny enough, if we score that, I think we go on to win. Get the next goal in the first ten minutes and it’s game on, but I think we needed that one.

We could equally lose 4-0 of course with no full backs and no midfield.

Well we got better I suppose (looks for positives).

Big half time team talk coming up, based on history he’s unlikely to change anything in terms of the eleven.

Less of the brain fart moments please in 2H.
Wonder if he’ll leave the HT talk to Grimes this week…

As soon as I saw the team line up, I knew we'd be shyte.
I really am losing patience now. If Williams can't see it, surely the owners can? We've got players on there not worth the shirt. No fight in them and precious little football ability.

I've said it many times but this inverted full backs obsession that LW has leaves horrific gaps down the flanks
This, in spades.

Martinwang beta version

Williams is regressing us a la Martin, all to boost his possession stats. Familiar story, will end in tears

Appalling first half.

A combination of individual errors (Cullen for the first and Tymon/Darling for the second) combined with LW's bizarre obsession with bringing his full backs in as central midfielders leaving their wingers with the freedom of the stadium to run in and attack.

On top of that Fulton has been completely non existent. The only evidence he is even on the pitch is that Bianchini is being forced to drop deep to offer a pass for the defenders that Fulton as a MIDFIELDER should be offering. Every time the ball goes to him he makes the wrong decision, miscontrols it or screws up the execution on whatever it is he is trying to do.

Eom and Bianchini with presentable chances and a half chance for Cullen.

The problem though is no tempo and no ambition from players when we are in the attacking third. Players are happy to send it back to the goalkeeper when we are on the edge of their box rather than put a ball in or take a man on

The numpty thinks Fulton's a footballer, of course he won't change anything.

It’s bonkers isn’t it? I don’t know what we’re doing on the training pitch, but we look clueless about how to move the ball forward. Considering how much of the ball we have, you’d think we’d be a bit better drilled when we’re on it. Everyone just stands watching.

If nothing else that 45 minutes confirms who our most important player is.
