• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

We all deserve much better, it's another shocking performance, and it's not the first this season , or probably the last.
I’m in the warmth of my cave, laying on the sofa, and eating rubbish. I’m unhappy. But there are those who went many steps further today and got served up a large slice of tactical ineptitude.

Do they, all stood there clapping the team

Very fair point.

Imagine you got a home delivery from Tesco, but they substituted everything you ordered for a fresh, steaming turd.

You wouldn't applaud the driver merely for turning up on time would you.

I've always found it more than odd that anyone would pay £50-100 and travel all that way to be served up something like that, then clap politely at the end just to be "nice". If I was there, I would either have walked out at 3-0 and got on my way if I was driving, but if I had to stay I would be giving them pelters at the end. That was absolutely appalling from start to finish, the players should club together and refund every fan out of their own pockets after that. A complete and utter disgrace.

What can be said that hasn't been said so far this season.
Inept lack of the will to win.
Lots of negatives and the players have to take their share of the blame.
But it comes down in the end to the same mistakes happening and not learning.

As far as I'm concerned Williams has had the time and things aren't improving.

It's time to go.
Aye, it’s all been said now, multiple times. We need a fundamental change.

Nothing as strange, or stupidly loyal as football fans. I would be like you, spitting feathers and giving them pelters. I assume there won't be any fist pumping going on tonight.

Fans have already been fisted after that.

But we can't work out what, players, manager.. but like zonal and man marking, a bit of both will do
Williams, Grimes, Fulton. All the architects of this garbage ā€œphilosophyā€ that tops out in mid table and achieves nothing. Play passing football. But play it quicker. Take risks in the final third, turn forward. Lose the ball, win it back. Play players in their positions. It’s not hard. No one wants Cooperball or route one. Just bin this Martin/Williams shite.
