Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Preston North End 0 Swansea City 0 | Att: 12,838 | The EFL Championship

Always happy to get a point on the road.
We were lucky Preston missed a hatful of chances.
We were shapeless ,We have gone from one extreme to the other. Long goal kicks all the time wouldnt mind seeing the odd short routine as we used to play so at least we get the ball and make the oppo think.
We were shapeless, at times I wondered if Franco was playing as didn't hear his name much or see him involved.
We looked the tireder side despite us having had 9 days between games and them 2
Still though unbeaten now in two...let's see what Saturday brings....and them up the road lost again🙂

I thought it was a good battling performance, although 'useless Swansea' turned up a little bit in the second half. Negatives - as I said at half time, we're so weak in 50:50 scraps and get pushed off the ball too easily, Darling's sloppiness almost cost us the game (Delcroix next game please) in the last minutes, and Vig's distribution (FFS stop kicking into touch, its not rugby).
Positives - Eom was a bit more effective than usual and unlucky not to score (will he ever?), OBrien is 100% more positive than the garden gnome, Bango solid as usual, Vig made some handy saves.

Good God did he really not make it until he was 16?

What a failure.
A bit of a surprising whoosh for you Rob.

Each year from the age of 8 to 16 he was rejected, failed to make the grade due to his technical deficiencies - his confidence is thus always on a knife edge, and it shows

It's not a whoosh at all.

Are we talking about the same player who bossed the midfielder for a Huddersfield team who made the play-offs?

The same midfielder who you were slating from the very moment he arrived as he wasn't Matty (and was eyed to play with him not replace him according to you)

The same midfielder who still came down here even though his missus is heavily pregnant, coming to a relegation battle with a shit manager when he could have sat at home picking up the coin when others such as Clark and the Man City lad turned their nose up?

Put your focus elsewhere. It's wearing.

Thank fuk i've only got to go back to Blackpool was like chalk and cheese from last week so many misplaced passes it waa untrue, hope someone teaches Vig to how to kick straight but his saves kept us in it. If the owners had any ambition of every getting promoted then they need to bring 2 real quality players in every window for the next 5 years cos this lot have got no chance.

We road our luck at times and was not as good as we was last game. But will take a point as they have good home record and pitch wasn't great. And onto next game. Side Note, I'm questioning Darling selection, as I feel he is going through the motions, he was lucky as well as Fulton not to let us go down. Would of liked Allen instead of Fulton and Ginnelly hopeful will be on bench on weekend.

Yeah, its a massive whoosh - I was referring to darling

Good point in the end but fark me, our game management is just ridiculous at times. In injury time you had Darling losing the ball on the halfway line as last man, lucky their striker is a carthorse. Then with 30 seconds left Vigoroux shanks it out of play on halfway when all he needed to do was thump it and the game was more or less over.

There's no wonder we've conceded so many goals, some of our players are so thick.
