• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Literally if I am trying to find an excuse for Cullen is that Sheehan feels it's a lot to ask VP to perform with high energy in a few days apart from last game. My gut is saying, Sheehan is trying to gamble a bit. Like you said, this is my only concern with Sheehan. If Cullen scores. Then egg on my face. Let's hope so
Resting players with three games to go doesn't make sense to me.

I thought the team which started the game against Hull dominated all over the pitch and the drop off game when we introduced the likes of Fulton and Cullen.

Pre kick off, I'm still in the Sheehan no camp.

I'm in the get out of my camp, your welcome back into my camp, and you cannot leave, now I'm not sure 😂😂😂. Talk about hot and cold. Joking aside, he isn't always gonna get every team selection the way I would like it. But Cullen one is odd. Allen, was never and will never play 2 games so close.

I'd rather move Eom in as a ten and player either Parker or Bianchini out wide than pack the midfield with Fulton.

Or keep Vipnotik upfront and slot Cullen in as the ten.

His team secretion has worked up until now. Can it work over a forty six game season? I'm not so sure.

Good Call. Seems Sheehan at present maybe doesn't want to experiment. But that would be a good way to set up.

I like Fulton. He has lost a yard of pace though. He didnt even have a yard of pace to start with so I would admit he does look a little lost these days. He gets far too much stick though. Best player on the park when we beat Palace 5-4. Its easy to forget how long hes been here.

Sadly Fulton has fallen into the walking football RM/LW culture which suited him passing six yards backwards in our own third. Now he's been asked to play on the front foot, get up the pitch and track back which he clearly struggles with.

He's become slower and one paced with a yellow card in waiting. Decent servant to the club similar to Naughton which glosses over level of performance required now in the Championship.

Cullen, when used correctly adds value but is limited outside of his preferred role which doesn't do him any favours.
Agree about Fulton, shouldn't even be in the squad, but comparing him to Naughton is not good. In fairness to Naughton he rarely lets us down, and for his age is remarkably fit.

It’s refreshing that he knows his best side, with players in their mani positions and it normally delivers for him. So there’s no real need to change too much. Cullen is the odd one out, as he looks lost when played as the lone striker. Some rotation is inevitable though.
