• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

It's very likely Williams will look to rest players we've had loads of minutes, such as Cullen. However, this would be a good opportunity to try players in the positions they were brought in to play. Bianchini may not have done well out wide so far, but that's his position, so why not have him playing wide and Eom in his preferred 10, with do little to lose? Perhaps Vipotnik up front to rest Cullen and Abdulai in for Ronald.
Absolutely. Isn’t Abdulai supposed to be a CM? Let’s see him there. Or Peart-Harris behind the striker, as I think he’s more naturally a 10 like Eom.

We haven’t got enough defenders to experiment at the back, but I hope we don’t see Pederson - he needs to go.

I get it, we all do. Been a mental few weeks for the players, the derby is looming. But what we can't have is playing the stiffs next week, turning up to the piggery full strength and getting turned over.
We haven't got a great record lately playing away at teams around the relegation zone. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if we lost to them.

I'd heard 600.
Great effort by those going.

This game should have been 3pm on a Saturday and a cracking weekend for our supporters.

I have no idea why the club allowed the game to be shifted to suit the BBC who hardly acknowledge we exist the majority of the time.

Do/should we tolerate a piss poor performance/exit therfore gambling on next Saturday?
Think we all know what's coming, a gutless exit. If so, then an equally gutless display next week and Luke can fck off.
I recall us playing our reserves at home v Spurs in the 5th/6th round few years back to keep players fresh. The resulting gamble was a total fck up in both games.

Stronger than expected for both teams
2-0 them

Personally we should always look to play our strongest team whenever possible.

Naughton and Christie at centre half.
Ginnelly on bench.
McLaughlin in goal.

No Harry Darling 😬

Back four and keeper don't inspire me with confidence.

No idea why we are giving this bloke a game in goals.

Looking at our team, is that a central defensive pairing of Christie and Naughton?

No Cabango either, would be silly to risk either of them considering we’re relying on Christie at CB for now
