Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea 0 Millwall 1 | The EFL Championship

So glad I bought my ticket a few weeks ago. Can’t wait to watch the scintillating display we’re going to put on.

Maybe we should take some of these with us:
We talked about that clip today at the game. It’s so bad it’s almost comical. Laugh or you have to cry.

Bottom line is.

We have a CEO that is totally out of touch with the reality of his responsibilities.

Employed by owners/hedge fund* that has lost interest on thier "investment" long ago, and basically needs to cut and run as soon as they can find anyone to take this circus off thier hands
Williams is the least of our worries.

I agree with your view, but Williams is the only one in a position to do anything about it and he has his thumb stuck up his arse thinking everything’s basically ok with the way HE is telling them to play. I’d argue just now, he’s our only relevant worry.

I suppose if Coleman knew anything about football he might tell Williams to stop pissing about in no uncertain terms, and change his approach. But he doesn’t, and we don’t have a pot to piss in so we can’t buy or sack, so this season is ALL on Williams now, and he needs to optimise what he has. He's just not. Dud.

Deffo the owners fault and it's been highlighted for a few years on these forums.
To think some have stood up for our owners over the years and some are still standing by their views and I notice these are ones calling for Williams to go! It saves face doesn't it.

Of course your correct on Williams Monny, he's out of his depth , he's managing a football club above his level , he's also been dealt a shit hand in fairness.

We have a few decent players at championship level, but many more that are not, this lands squarely at our owners door.

It's been coming mind, clear as day.

He's not out of his depth. We've conceded 8 goals in 12 games, the side is organised defensively, which is something that neither Martin nor Duff got a grip on.

What he is, he is basically Steve Cooper but without the strikers to bail him out.

This is what would have happened had Cooper not had parachute payments. It's just been delayed by a few years, but it was always coming eventually.

If the squad isn't up to it then you can really say much on the manager can you?

Defensively and midfield is fine but attacking wise is a problem with quality and numbers. Not scoring goals is putting massive pressure on our defence and midfield.
Paul Watson's time here as been an absolute disaster!
Midfield is fine ? Where ? One plays CB. The wide midfielders can't cross. No one can pick out an opportunity. One should have retired before ruining his legendary status. So, apart from Franco, where exactly is the midfield fine ?

We are similar to the way we played under Sousa but with out the likes of Bodde Pratley Trundle Dyer

Britton played in between the CBs under Guidolin

I suppose if some of fans knew anything about football there.wpuldnt be such crap posted

What are people going on about mun, Williams has a worse record than Duff FFS.. it's the only fact everyone is missing.. possession stats, defensive stats, line breaking stats, the data, the hard yards.. they're feeding you all bullsh*t

29% win rate FFS.. you're all insane mun

Decipher as much as we want. Don't think any of us feel any kind of attachment/affinity to this group of players in any shape or form.
Can't recall ever feeling so dis interested in how we getting on.

Edited to remove cider fuelled insults…they’ll be visible in a quote. Everyone’s entitled to their view, arrogant and pompous or not.
