Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea 0 Millwall 1 | The EFL Championship

And, sorry, what are your credentials to be able to comment whilst ridiculing others opinions. You are an utter bulb.
The same as yours.

So.many criticise our mangager yet discount the poor quality he has at his diposal..
Take a look at Vipotnik's history.....what is Cullens record?

Yes i do sometimes quesrions some of his decisions butnin fairness Williams doesnt have a great quality up front.
In fairness today i thougjt wr tried a few different things at set pieces, we also looked like attacking through the middle more.

Maybe im just an old man who through supporting simce the days of re election recognise we are a mid table second tier side who will get the occasional flirtation with.the top table when all the stars align.

Wise up we have owners with zero emotional attachment tonpur club who were sold a false picture by so called fans who were desperate to cash in.

I ll stiil be here supporting my club after youve long gone

Midfield is fine ? Where ? One plays CB. The wide midfielders can't cross. No one can pick out an opportunity. One should have retired before ruining his legendary status. So, apart from Franco, where exactly is the midfield fine ?
There’s nothing wrong with our defensive platform in this league (and that includes the two more defensive midfielders in Grimes and Franco). It all goes to crap ahead of them. Cooper, Cullen, Vip are really poor through the middle, Ronald is a one trick pony and now we’ve got no fit natural left sided forwsrds. Peart-Harris shows flashes of his quality but is still a young kid learning the game.

Stick Dobbie, Sinclair and Dyer in this team and we’d be flying. Even carrying Vip.

Well done for your long support. I've been a supporter since the age of 6 in 1978 so have seen it all (bar reelection). You've missed my point about credentials. Every one is entitled to their own opinion. However, you've taken it to another level by being condescending. That is something that really pisses me off and why I said what I said. You are correct in our club status but we have been out of the doldrums for a good few years now so I believe the fans should be allowed to expect better. If you'd bothered to have read my other posts you'd have seen that I actually said stuff that you've mentioned vis a vis the owners/manager etc.
Then you go and spoil it again and make yourself look like a utter wanker with the "I'll be here long after you've gone comment ". Been here for 47 out of my 53 years and it ain't gonna change. Perhaps your pious and condescending manner will.

Im so sorry for coming across as puous and condescending.
I agree everyone is entitled to their opinion.
My issue is too.many speak without understanding and sometimes i let my emotions run away.

Too many are writing off Williams because of his association with the fraud

Anyone sensible watching today could see Williams was trying to do something different

Had someone told me back in 1985 we would be a mid table second tier club I would have bitten their arm off...we have no righr to be in the PL and yes wouldnt it be great to be there again BUT in reality we dont have the resources as a club.
We had thw chance of a European adventure but the then chairman allowed himself to ve swayed by the likes of Monk to sack Luadrup....mainly because he saw thay the chances.of a sale were being reduced due to our league performances.....

Williams is trying...the football is better than.we saw under Martin despite a.pioorer quality squad...bit then thats my opinion

Personally, I think we are right back in the doldrums. It's the worst vibe at the club since pre-Brian Flynn.

Fans are bickering amongst themselves. The team is dismal (regardless of who you think is to blame). Our owners are 4,000 miles away and have been here perhaps a dozen times in coming up to 9 years, they can't be arsed. They've installed an absolute muppet to run the club. The catering in the stadium is a joke, I went to order crisps for my boy today but I couldn't, because the screen didn't say which type of flavour was which. When I went up to the counter they said they couldn't help, I had to order at the screen. Farcical. It's been well documented the Swans TV offering is a third-world shambles. The Trust is dead.

About the only thing left that we've got going for us is that somehow, despite all this, we're still a Championship club - but for how much longer?

If all of this isn't a return to the doldrums then I dread to think what is...

You can't blame the current state of ToxicSwans, can you? I think you've covered up most points quite well. We are in a total shambles both on and off thr pitch. It needs someone who knows how to run a football club in charge, not one of their mates stateside who they keep putting in place for reasons unknown.

He's not out of his depth. We've conceded 8 goals in 12 games, the side is organised defensively, which is something that neither Martin nor Duff got a grip on.

What he is, he is basically Steve Cooper but without the strikers to bail him out.

This is what would have happened had Cooper not had parachute payments. It's just been delayed by a few years, but it was always coming eventually.
So Williams is a Premier league manager in the making then, is that what you're saying?...

Williams tells us Margetson is defence coach, Sheehan works well with our midfield.

So that leaves Williams to just fix the frontline and he tells us how good they are and how he can make them better cos that’s what he does best. Blah de blah.

And some fans still believe him?
