• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Didn't know what to expect tonight but lived with a bit of hope after the second half on Sunday that we at least something resembling the will to not lose.
As soon add I saw the line up that hope disappeared as we had given away the midfield.
Sheffield Wednesday were a mediocre mid table team who didn't need to put in a shift to beat us.
So apart from the second half on Sunday our pathetic performances continue.
With three teams at the bottom playing away and basically a given they would lose, the chance of creating a greater buffer was there to be taken.
In the end nothing. Even ignoring Darling giving the goal away his performance was woeful and has replaced Grimes in slowing everything down.

Its ironic that after the Brizzle game he was talking about staying on the pitch to share the moment with the players but when we have lost our past two home games he doesn't stay to face the music from the supporters and vanishes straight down the tunnel
He took credit for that team huddle at the end of the game too, when it was Mike the kitman who instigated him doing it, blokes a fraud.

Everyone at the club are so tunnel visioned, read Coleman’s programme notes he’s gushing over Sundays win like we won the league, he’s so out of his depth it’s worrying
It's funny we had no program for Bristol match and as soon as we get a win, as you said he is gushing over results. Didn't mention anything else and welcomes fans forum. Oh dear. What has he got himself into.

I saw that, kitman was motivated to get team and Williams. Wonder who Williams will throw under the bus tonight?

He didn’t even bring up the January window absolute cop out he is.

Well that was dreadful.
Williams on his last legs.
A poor squad with poor attacking quality.
A chairman who has not provided the tools to even give us a chance.

Not much more to be said, I just hope we can limp past the finish line.
It's all about 3 teams below is not picking up enough points

Tonight should have been a fighting performance, sadly there was no cohesion no teamwork.

It was blindly obvious from the first half, but no let's just carry on.

Williams should be shot for that starting line -up. Peart Harris, for a big bloke, has no fight in him, no pace, no tackling. Those who thought Eom is a natural no.10, think again. He was totally out of his depth tonight, physically not up to football at this level. Fulton is a waste of oxygen and Darling's attitude was appalling, I'd put him training with the juniors until he sorts himself out.

Poor, uninformed post.

Sunday was simply backs against the wall all-out scurry and scramble. No semblance of control or playing identity. Just pumped up adrenaline.

'slowing everything down' ? ffs, get a grip - we massively lacked measured control, composure and leadership. We were rudderless with absolutely no playing identity without Grimes.

some of our online fans nowadays, aye.....

My biggest concern and it's been said throughout the season, I just don't see where the goals are coming from.
We have very poor creativity in the team......we don't even have an outlet with a bit of pace to turn defence into attack when under the cosh.

The worst I can remember from a mental attitude point of view. Complacent, lacking in direction, confidence, purpose, The goal was the worst giveaweay and Swansea already hold top spot in the league for the highest number of goals conceded because of crass errors. Concentration was gone like a daydreaming layabout. Something or somebody needs to change
